The Pinterest Challenge is back! For those of you who don’t know what it is, it’s simply making something you “pinned” a reality. In other words, getting off the couch, picking something you “pinned” and actually doing it. After seeing a million chalkboard frames on Pinterest I knew this would be the perfect project to tackle! (You can see all my past projects here, here & here). I also had a photo shoot coming up and making this would be the perfect prop. I had gotten chalkboard contact paper a few months ago (found here) so all I needed were some frames. Nothing a little trip to goodwill couldn’t resolve. $5 dollars later I had my own little chalkboard frames! Super easy, fast and cheap! I mean, instead of having a Subway foot-long I now have not one, but two little chalkboard friends!
The steps are simple. Clean one side of the glass from your frame, add your contact paper and frame it! Easy enough?

Those turned out great! I love the idea of using Contact paper. I have painted glass with chalk board paint, but this is so much easier! Awesome :)

They look great! I’m glad to see that chalkboard contact paper works! We have a chalkboard wall, but I’ve thought about making a smaller board for my daughter. I hate cleaning up the chalk from the baseboards! Thanks for sharing!
