Last week I found some cool painted pumpkins on Pinterest and knew immediately that they would become part of my second “Pinterest challenge“.
These challenges were created by Katie @Bower Power and Sherry @Young House Love (Two of my favorite blogs). During the last challenge, I had fun making these flower vases. This time I decided I was going to paint our pumpkins!
Getting the materials was super cheap and getting the pumpkins wasn’t hard either thanks to Trader Joe’s. ( I wish I could’ve gone to a real Pumpkin Patch).
At the end of the day painting our pumpkins was super easy, super fun and best of all super clean. No carving means no mess. Take a look!

Anyways, painting the pumpkins was so much fun that I think we’ll do it again next year. Can’t wait to come up with cooler ideas next time. Do you paint your pumpkins too? Or do you prefer carving them?
