Daily Inspiration – Bridemaids!

Monday, January 16th, 2012

If you haven’t seen this movie, you must! Bridesmaids is one of the most hilarious films I’ve ever seen. To me it was the best comedy of 2011. Not only does it make you laugh out loud the whole time but it will also make you love the cast.

Coolest poster.

All the ladies are incredible! Kristen Wiig and Maya Rudolph have the best chemistry. They play best friends, and watching them will immediately make you think of your best friend. Melissa McCarthy definitely stands out too! It’s hard to pick a favorite.

Love them!

Before the best scene...

A couple weeks ago I got the chance to attend a special screening followed by a Q&A session. Director Paul Feig, writer Annie Mumolo and producer Judd Apatow were there. From the cast, the ladies that attended were, Elli Kemper, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Maya Rudolph! Yes, Maya was there and it was awesome!

Bridesmaids Q&A

Watching the film for a second time was even better than the first time. I absolutely loved it. To me it’s one of those films that will put you in the greatest mood no matter what you are going through. If you haven’t seen it, rent it! Make it a movie night with some friends, get the popcorn ready and enjoy!

They were super funny.

Have you seen Bridesmaids? Did you love it too? What was your favorite film from last year?

Hope you smile!

The best film I saw last year was Cowboys vs. Aliens. Excellent performance and cool script. We´ll see bridesmaids soon and let you know our opinion.

I want to see it!!! I haven’t yet!!!

Cowboys & Aliens was by far one of the WORST movies I’ve seen … EVER, not just last year. Bridesmaids, one of the BEST!! I still have to write my review for it (it’s going to get nominated for an Oscar ;-) Oh and I think I was invited to this same screening you went to Lary (who loves to party :) I attended a pre-screening for Bridesmaids a couple months before the final print was released. Had you seen that version, you’d hate the movie you know and love today. They cut sooooo much for length reasons, the final print does this film no justice. The airplane for instance, is just well written and builds perfectly up to the point of eruption with the “air marshall”. Brilliant piece of cinema … that takes place in my hometown of Milwaukee!! That’s how we do it baby! All the areas of the film were areas I hung out at, so cool to experience that from a great film!

Will have to find that version then! Now I’m curious. About Cowboys & Aliens, haven’t seen it. Not my type of film but everyone is entitled to like what they want. That’s the best thing about movies, there’s a style for everyone :)

Oh and best movie of the year, “The Artist”. By a land slide!

This was such a great movie! I loved it. Another one that was kind of funny was Horrible Bosses. I mean, it’s no amazing cinematic feat, and the plot plays out almost exactly how you would expect it to. But, it’s hard to top any movie with Jason Bateman in it. ;-)

I saw bridesmaids yesterday! I really didn’t like it :S… I hoped for it to be funnier, I don’t know if it was because I was too tired but it wasn’t that funny for me! There are really funny parts but I found it to be a little bit slow at times, and some scenes were longer than they should have been!! But that’s my opinion =P… I haven’t seen Cowboys and Aliens or The Artist so I can’t say anything about those, but The Artist has 10 Oscar Nominations so I’m guessing there must be something good there!
