I’ve been wanting to make some pom poms for a long time. After I made them I needed to take them to the next level of fun. A cake topper! I followed the instructions from Scoutie Girl to create my garland. Then I added my own little twist. I decided to simply use some cute paper straws as my holders and make it a cake muffin topper! I mean, how cute does it look? I was telling the mister I felt like throwing a party for no reason just to use it. It’s super easy and will make the cutest topper for any occasion. Or if you are anything like me, you will make it for no reason. HA! Happy crafting! Don’t you love simple projects like this? Have you made a cake topper?
Materials: Yarn, two paper straws, twine & scissors (not pictured)
Start by making some pom poms out of the yarn, tie them to the twine and tie your garland to the straws. Place on top of your cake, muffins or cupcakes!
