Last week I shared this little friend with you. I promised I would share more. This camera today is a cute find that also belonged to my grandparents. I think discovering these might explain my love for photography…it’s definitely in my blood. Do you also collect family treasures?

I’m back at it! Another little handmade gift anybody can make. Following the same style from the little love notes I made last week, these bookmarks are pretty easy. I know, maybe not that many people read actual books nowadays with so many tablets out there. Bookmarks to me are still pretty special.
All you need is scissors, scrap-booking paper, felt, punch hole, string, ink + stamps, needle and thread!
Start by cutting your paper into your desired size for the bookmark. Cut out hearts from the felt. Stitch your heart towards the top. Then simply stamp away with your choice of stamps. I decided to stamp the name of which I will be sending this too (spoiler alert). Then use the punch hole at the top of your bookmark and add a little string (which I forgot to photograph). I told you it was easy!

I’ve been wanting to make something out of these crescent rolls we had in the fridge forever. I decided to experiment with some spinach and cream cheese. Just because I had one goal, get rid of the crescent rolls. My experiment turned out way better than I expected!
This is what I did… Preheated the oven at 350 degrees. I started by simply separating the rolls on a cookie sheet. I placed a tablespoon of cream cheese on each. Then in a bowl, I mixed a handful of chopped spinach, garlic salt, pepper and a bit of mozzarella cheese. I placed a little bit of the spinach mix on each roll and rolled them up. After 20 minutes in the oven, they were simply delicious! Super easy and perfect for a weekend morning or snack.

There’s something about 90’s music. I miss it sometimes. Yesterday Torn came on my Pandora station. I immediately found myself singing out loud. Don’t you love when you rediscover a good song? Natalie Imbruglia was and still is that cool chick I wish I was friends with. What are some of your favorite 90’s songs?

A couple of weeks ago one of my cousins had a very nice surprise for me. An old camera that belonged to my late grandpa. It was unexpected. You can imagine my face and smile when I saw it. Being the geek that I am, I had to take pictures of it to share. Me and the mister started a little collection a couple of years ago. This camera is my favorite by far. I have a bunch of old family photos that were taken with this same camera. My favorite discovery was the little “cheat sheet” on the back of it. Don’t you love family treasures? P.
