I had my very first macaroon this weekend. I know, don’t judge me, it took me a long time to try them. Not sure what took me so long because these things are delicious!!! I stopped by Lette Macarons and it was such a cute little space that the whole presentation made it worth the price. Have you had any? What is your favorite one? I loved the chocolate and lemon one!

I got a little gift for my friend today. It wasn’t her birthday, it was just a random day. There is something about making someone happy when they are not expecting it. I mean, don’t you love to get surprises? It always makes me smile big time! If you have the time or energy today, go get a little something and give it to one of your friends. I was walking our “little” dog yesterday. I ran across these flowers and did what every normal person would do, stop and take pictures, right? I’m not even sure what their name is, but I don’t care. For me they will always be “those pretty flowers on the side of the road”. You never know when you will get inspired and this is another example. I don’t know about you but I feel like this year is flying by. How is it April already? I’m so glad that days are a bit longer and I get to see the sunset from our kitchen window. But, I do have a big favor to ask “2013”, could you slow down a little? Don’t you feel the same way? Please let me know I’m not crazy.
