One of my best friends celebrated her birthday this weekend with an awesome bonfire. There is always something about them that makes them special. Between some good S’mores, good company and a nice fire to stay warm what can go wrong? The perfect beach sunset maybe had a little bit to do with it, plus a pretty kite. I will have to try to sneak in a couple more bonfires before the summer ends. Hope you had a lovely weekend!

Yesterday I shared the cutest Japanese dollar store in town, Daiso. Check out some of the cute things I came home with… If you guessed washi tape yesterday, you guessed right! I also picked up some of our favorite candy, the mister was thrilled. HA

Guys, I got a new confession to make, I’m totally obsessed with Daiso Japan! This lovely place is the Japanese version of a dollar store. Everything is $1.50 and boy can you get lost in there, in a very good way! They have so many pretty things, I spent over an hour in there without noticing it. I came home with so many cute items that I will be sharing with you tomorrow. Can you guess what I got? Have you been to a Daiso store too?

While at the Downtown Flea this weekend I ran into the most cutest succulents arrangements I’ve ever seen. Obviously, since going to the desert my attraction for them has gotten bigger. These lovely handmade planters are something else. This guy knows what he’s doing. Wish we would’ve taken one home. Check out some of his great work on his Etsy shop RotdCreations.
