I discovered this little DIY over at Cape 27 thanks to a House Crash post from Young House Love . I pinned it and waited way too long to make it. I knew I had to since I had some leftover mason jars from these babies. I will admit, it did not take only 20 minutes. It took me and the mister around 4 days to get it done between not having a drill or the right tools. Luckily we borrowed them and were finally ready to tackle this thing. I will confess, we are now proud owners of a drill people! I know, I’m impressed too! Days after completing this I got inspired to finally get one (thanks to a coworker selling it!) Maybe it was a sign? Anyways, the end result is pretty sweet. I felt like I had accomplished something huge after all my hammered fingers (true story). Who knew working with a little piece of reclaimed wood would be so hard. Check out the tutorial here. You know you want to. Please let me know how long it takes you to make it if you do! HA
