Wednesday, May 6th, 2015

This year sure is flying by. Or is it just me? Either way I can’t believe Mother’s day is this Sunday. I always laugh at all those made up “national (enter anything here) days” that keep showing up on social media. I figured since this is an actual holiday, why not create some pretty Mother’s Day {Free} Printables for you? Just in case you need a little help finding something for all those special ladies in your life. Feel free to print it and frame it to make your moms, grandmas, aunts, friends smile! Happy Mother’s Day to all!

Daily Inspiration – Father’s Day {Free} Printables

Friday, June 19th, 2015

Just like we did for Mother’s day I figured, why not create Father’s day {free} printables for those who need a gift for that special guy in their life? I’ll be honest, we totally thought father’s day was last Sunday. To the point that after having our special “father’s day pancake breakfast” the mister called his dad to wish him happy Father’s Day just to have him laugh at us and tell us it was next Sunday. We were about to call my dad next HA! Not sure how that happened but we’ve been laughing about it daily and now I may or may not have to go get more bananas + pecans for the second round of pancakes HA! Anyhow, hope you have a lovely Sunday friends! Remember, just download, print and frame. I’m sure there are some dads out there that will appreciate some watercolor prints HA! What do  you think?

Daily Inspiration – DIY Heart Felt Notes!

Monday, May 7th, 2012

Mother’s day is around the corner. Isn’t that crazy? This year is flying by. This particular holiday I think is always the perfect one to give your mom something you make yourself. It might bring back memories from when you made little projects in school as a kid. therefore it will always bring a big smile to their face, at least that’s what I believe. After seeing this picture on Pinterest (here) and reading this post from Clever Charlotte, I got inspired to create some notes to send to those special ladies in my life. Spoiler alert Mom and Debbie! HAHA The materials you will need you probably already have at home. The final product is simple, cute and handmade! What else can you ask for?

Materials:

  • Scrapbook paper (I used a cardboard looking one)
  • Felt.
  • Scissors.
  • Needle and thread.

Start by cutting a little heart out of felt. Cut the paper whatever size you want to make your note. Sew your heart into your card. That simple! Aren’t they cute? You can write something on them, or not. Up to you!

You can create these for any occasion. I’m sure they will make any gift more special. Do you like making things for your mom & friends too? Do you prefer buying them?

Hope you get inspired!
